The hike begins at far east side of the parking lot and descends onto the trail in the forest. The well marked trail will veer left and continue fairly flat for the first section. Follow the orange diamond markers for roughly 10 minutes and you will reach a viewpoint for the first of two waterfalls. Always remain within the fenced area as the terrain is very slippery from the mist and a slip could be fatal.
Head back onto the trail and continue walking up stream. Soon after you will reach an second overlook of the first waterfall, this time the falls will be on your right side. Once satisfied, continue along the trail which will lead along Cypress Creek. A few minutes later you will arrive at a bridge, do not cross any bridge going over the river as this will lead you away from the falls. Instead continue following the orange markers up the hill to your left, keeping on the west side of the creek until you reach the second waterfall known as Upper Cypress Falls.
Enjoy the view, the refreshing mist, snap a few pictures and once ready return down the hill the way you came following the designated trail back to the parking lot.
