Spring is here and flowers are blooming all over, especially at BLOOM, the Abbotsford Tulip Festival. If you are looking for the perfect spring activity, look no further! BLOOM is a large breath-taking field of blossoming tulips ranging from all types and colours located in Abbotsford, BC. The Tulip Festival is set to display a beautiful spectacle which features over 40 varieties of tulips and activities for the entire family. The very popular event lasting only about 1 month per year is one that should not be missed!
The Bloom Tulip Festival was founded in 2016 by Alexis Warmerdam, a third-generation Canadian tulip farmer and fourth-generation bulb grower. The annual spectacle attracts and average of 90,000 visitors over the course of five weeks.

Other highlights at the festival include U-pick tulip fields, photo perfect opportunities, tulip bouquet sales, food trucks, covered picnic areas, children’s games, and school field trips. There are also discounted locals nights for Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley, and Mission residents.
Tickets to the event range between $2.50 to $30, include parking and can be purchased online (recommended), or at the gate. Tickets are expected to sell-out during high bloom weekends. We suggest purchasing your tickets beforehand online, as the price will increase if you buy them at the gate. Children three and under get in free.

Entry Fee
Entry to the festival is between $2.50 and $30.00. Visit the BLOOM website for specific pricing and purchasing tickets.
Family Friendly
Bloom is family friendly for all ages. Most strollers are able to get around the festival grounds comfortable. People with strollers designed for trails / off-road will have the best experience, although most regular full sizes strollers should be ok as well. Children three and under get in free.
Dog Friendly
Dogs are welcomed on the festival grounds but must remain on-leash at all times.
Food Nearby
There is a concession as well as food trucks located at the event.
Picnic Area
There is a covered picnic area available. Outside food allowed.
Wheelchair Friendly
Wheelchairs with wider or pneumatic tires, and accompanied by an attendant to help get around with a moderate amount of effort will be fine.
Smoking Free Zone
Smoking is prohibited on the festival grounds.
Toilets Available
There are clean portable toilets available, including limited wheelchair accessible toilets and hand washing stations.
Parking Available
Free parking is available at the location.
