At about 1 hour from downtown Vancouver and located along side highway 99, Shannon Falls is a popular day-use park.

DOG FRIENDLY: YES
Dog are welcomed but must be on leash at all times and are not allowed in beach areas or park buildings. Dog owners are responsible for their pet's behaviour and must dispose of their excrement. Backcountry areas are not suitable for dogs or other pets due to wildlife issues and potential problems with bears.
DRINKING WATER AT SHANNON FALLS: YES
There is a drinking water fountain available at the washroom building during the summer season. Closed during the winter season.
PICNICKING AT SHANNON FALLS: YES
There are picnic tables located in the park and most of them are equipped with BBQ holders. Reservations for the group site picnic area are available at a fee of $50.00 per group. The group area does not have picnic tables.
FOOD NEARBY SHANNON FALLS: YES
For your convenience the park has a concession which offers food snacks located next to the flush toilet building on the trail to the waterfalls.
TOILETS IN SHANNON FALLS: YES
There are both flush and pit toilets located throughout the park. The flush toilet building is closed after Thanksgiving and re-opens aproximately May 15.
WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY: YES
The trail to the waterfalls is not paved, although the surface is formed of fairly packed crusher dust which is suitable for most wheelchairs. A secondary trail with an incline provides access to the viewing platform, although assistance may be required. There are wheelchair accessible toilets in the day-use area as well as a few wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a drinking fountain.
PARKING AT SHANNON FALLS: YES
Vehicles parked illegally at Shannon Falls Provincial Park will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Visitors must park in designated parking lots and observe the “no parking” signs posted. The parking lots are extremely vulnerable to vehicle break-ins, leave no valuables in your vehicle.
CAMPING AT SHANNON FALLS: NO
Camping is not allowed in Shannon Falls Provincial Park, although there is the Klahanie Campground across the highway as well as campgrounds in the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park next door.
