Joffre Lakes gained an immense amount of popularity over the years due to its beauty and presence on social media. The park fills up very quickly on weekends and parking can be very difficult to find. Being one of the biggest tourist attraction in the area, there are line ups of tour buses bringing crowds of visitors to the lakes. Although, despite these large crowds, not everyone ventures beyond the first lake. Therefor, it is possible to find peaceful areas in the park where the view is not obstructed by iPads.
